The VL-SW1708 is an 8-port HDMI LCD KVM console that integrates a 17.3-inch display, keyboard, and touchpad into a single 1U rackmount drawer, letting one operator manage up to eight HDMI servers from the rack itself. It ships in two screen options — 4K UHD or Full HD — sharing the same chassis, ports, and controls.
Servers are selected by front-panel button or keyboard hotkey, with hot-plug support so machines can be added or removed without powering down the console. A built-in USB 2.0 hub, front and rear USB ports, HDMI audio with stereo speakers, and a seven-step auto-scan round out a self-contained console that needs no software or drivers.
Designed for server rooms, control centers, and any rack environment where space and a local operator position matter, the 1U pull-out drawer replaces a separate keyboard, monitor, and mouse — reclaiming roughly 85% of the space they would occupy.
