8-Port DisplayPort LCD KVM Console — 4K 60Hz, 1U Rackmount

The VL-SW1708DP is an 8-port DisplayPort LCD KVM console that integrates a 17.3-inch 4K display, keyboard, and touchpad into a single 1U rackmount drawer, letting one operator manage up to eight DisplayPort servers directly from the rack. The DP 1.2 inputs support 4K UHD at 60Hz with HDCP, downward compatible with a range of common resolutions.

Servers are selected by front-panel button or keyboard hotkey, with hot-plug support so machines can be added or removed without powering down the console. A built-in USB 2.0 hub, front and rear USB ports, DP audio with stereo speakers, and a seven-step auto-scan make it a self-contained console that needs no software or drivers. It also supports cascade stacking to control additional servers.

Designed for server rooms, control centers, and rack environments where a local 4K operator position matters, the 1U pull-out drawer replaces a separate keyboard, monitor, and mouse — reclaiming roughly 85% of the space they would occupy.
